Father,

There are no words to express how filthy I feel every time I break Your heart.  The guilt and the shame are overwhelming!  Lord, I need Your touch right now.  I am so sick of being “born again” and still doing the things I hate doing.  Like Paul, I am conflicted.  “For I do not do what I want, but do the very thing that I hate.” (Romans 7:15) I am so sorry!  Father, I ask for Your forgiveness right now.  I am shocked that my life has come to a point where even some sins don’t affect me at all.  Father, I have some hard layers on my heart that need peeling.  Please give me a 100% heart of flesh.  The hardness is a barrier between us that I can’t stand!  I love You and I am so regrettably sorry for my selfish actions.  Thank You for Your forgiveness, Lord.  Without forgiveness I am nothing.  With Your forgiveness I am whole again.  I praise Your Name!  Amen

Forgive Us Our Debt

God casts our sins into the depths of the sea when He forgives us. He puts them so far out of His sight that He never sees them again. Of course, the Lord does not actually forget our sins. If we remember the sins committed against us, how can the omniscient Lord not recall our transgressions of His law? Micah only means that God no longer holds our sins against us when He forgives us. He never again counts them against our standing before Him.

Holy Lord,

I can’t seem to shake the harm that’s been done to me off my shoulders.

Prayer Of Forgiveness For A Abusive Father

Loving Father God, I come to You today to lift up my father in prayer. Lord You know better than anyone else how difficult and abusive he was towards me and towards others as well. You know the suffering, pain and ridicule that I had to endure at his hands, for so many years.

My hurt and anger towards him is tinged with pity and sadness because we were not able to have the sort of loving relationship that a child should have with his father – and this is of great sadness to me. Lord the Church has lost its way as it is seeking strategies to build denomination bridges and interfaith uniformity and the expense of growing in true godly unity, and developing a Oneness in the Body of Christ, which reflects the unity between God Father and His beloved Son – the precious oneness You so desired in the Church, which is His body.

Prayer For Forgiveness After and Abortion

Heavenly Father we lift up all those women and mothers whose hearts are aching because of their decision to have an abortion and who are now riddled with guilt, because of their choices.

Father, the weight of my sins weigh heavily on my conscience and I know that there is no righteousness in me. Father God, thank You that You are the One that pardons guilty sinners, like me.. who are unworthy to so much as approach Your perfect righteousness. Dear Lord Jesus, I am sorry that I have been naughty and disobeyed my parents. I know I should listen to them but sometimes I don’t want to and then I get into trouble. Lord we know that the nation whose God is the Lord is a blessed nation indeed and yet me know that the nations in general an my own nation in particular has turned ours backs on You who made us and redeemed us with the precious blood of Your only begotten Son, our Saviour Jesus, Christ – our Lord.

Look done in pity on us for we are lost and miserable offenders, who deserve not your pity but Your judgement. Create in us a clean heart, with purified thoughts and a penitent disposition Father we do not deserve Your mercy but Lord we plead Your pity over our hopeless nations and pray that You would restore to us the joy of our salvation – according to Your great mercy and loving-kindness. Help us to repent, return and remember all that Christ has done on the cross of Calvary for every member of the human race – and turn the hearts of the sinner to their Saviour so that they may be delivered from this world of sin sick world.

Prayer Of Thanks For Christ’s Word Of Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, we stand in awe and wonderment as we look back and reflect on the whole course of that crucifixion day of the Lord Jesus Christ, and all that it means to us personally, as well the incredible impact that it must have had on those that were there at the time.. when the cruel nails were driven into His hands and feet and He was heard to pray, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do,”

Father although I can easily look back with an eye of criticism on all who were instrumental in His death and utter a word of condemnation or those who scorned and despised Him, yet as I reflect on the shocking treatment of our Lord, I realise that it was my sins that also nailed Him to the tree and I am equally as guilty of the death of Your only beloved Son, as Pontous Pilate, the Roman guards, the religious leaders of the Jews and the mocking crowd – for it was the weight of my sins that He carried to the cross and it was for me..personally, that He died.

Thank You Father that You answered His cry of forgiveness, in my life.. for that prayer includes me too. Thank You that my sins were forgiven at the cross and instead of Your wrath being poured out on me, Jesus took the full force of Your righteous anger as Your judgement on sin fell on Him..

Thank You Lord that instead of giving up on humanity when they killed Your beloved Son, that You chose to pour out 2000 years of grace upon grace – so that whosever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life..
