Prayers For All Humanity
Page Contents
Humanity is a term which commonly refers to the human species, mankind as a whole, or sets of qualities which are used to define human nature, the human condition, or to refer to any of the academic disciplines known as the humanities which study human culture.
Humanity is a virtue linked with basic ethics of altruism derived from the human condition. It also symbolises human love and compassion towards each other. Humanity differs from mere justice in that there is a level of altruism towards individuals included in humanity more so than the fairness found in justice. That is, humanity, and the acts of love, altruism, and social intelligence are typically individual strengths while fairness is generally expanded to all. Humanity can be classed as one of six virtues that are consistent across all cultures.

Blessing Mankind
Bless us all, O Lord, we pray, for loved ones, here and near, and far away. And everyone for whom we pray. Keep us safe each night and day, the homeless who have no place to stay. Those who are suffering in any way. The dying, those mourning or grieving and all who need God’s mercy. Keep us safe, Heavenly Father, when we are at home, or travelling on our way, or when we are vulnerable, or in danger in any way. Most merciful Father, hear us as we pray for the souls in Purgatory, or who may be sent there some day.
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplication, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1, 2).
Make me an instrument of Your peace
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

Prayer for All of Humanity #2
I pray for all of humanity to one day feel the pulse of the Mother Earth in their feet as they tread. I pray for mankind to find the faith to believe in the messages carried by their dreams and to see beyond the visible world. I pray that everyone I come in contact with can walk away with much, or at least some, of the happiness that lives within me. I pray for peace, acceptance, and tolerance for all who express their love for the higher power (whatever that name may be). Most of all, I pray for an end to the violence and depravity that darkens many souls. Peace be with us all!

Prayer for All of Humanity #5
God the Holy Spirit
Remove from us all desire for more money and possessions and cease our relentless quest for comforts that we do not need.
Make us aware of how much we already have and help us to share our wealth and time in partnership with all of humanity.
Ignite in us the fire of your love so that, filled with your Spirit, our faith is awakened by renewed commitment and deed.
Amen.

Prayer for All of Humanity #6
O Eternal Father,
I lift my heart to thee
And I pray for the people of all nations,
Irrespective of race, colour or creed.
I realize they are all thy children, Father,
And I therefore link them up together in my heart
And my prayers as such.
I pray for the disquited souls of man,
Both discarnate and incarnate.
I pray for those who are sorrowful and lonely;
For the unloved;
For those who feel themselves unwanted;
For those broken by life;
I pray, O Father, for ALL humanity.
I pray for those in prisons,
Those in asylums;
Those who are bedridden at home or in a hospital;
Those who are hungry;
Those who have a terminal illness;
I pray for all of the caregivers who tend the sick,
And I pray for all of the families of these people
Asking that they be given the strength,
Endurance,
Resourcefulness
And upliftment to continue their quest.
I ask thy care of those on battlefields of the world
Who at the call of duty are now away from loved ones,
On land, on sea and in the air.
I pray for those who mourn the loss of dear ones
Who are preparing for their transition
Or have passed on from the physical life.
Be with them, O Father,
And bring them the knowledge
That there is no death –
That life goes on forever.
And, I would ask that I myself may be a pure channel
To give forth thy love to one another.
I pray that thy blessings
And thy joy may rest upon the world
In the coming of peace to all of your children.
Amen.
Prayer for Humanity #1
My prayer is for human rights and dignity for all, under the care of God.
I pray for all leaders of governments and the United Nations to surrender to God to be their wisdom and authority in all decisions to lead humanity towards redemption.
To follow God’s word to be stewards of this Earth for all.

Prayer For Humanity #2
Dear God of All Humanity,
We ask that you empower us to be
ambassadors of your love and wisdom
to all the peoples of the earth.
We know that, with your grace,
we can disrupt the cycle of pain and suffering
visited upon your children — including those who
appear to be agents of hate and intolerance
but who are, in fact, victims of suffering as well.
To remedy our imbalance, we ask that you
give us the strength and courage to act
as one family deserving of your mercy so that
peace and unity may be realized in our lifetimes.
We ask this in your name. Amen.

Baha’i World Faith Prayer for Humanity
O Thou compassionate Lord, Thou Who art generous and able! We are servants of Thine sheltered beneath Thy providence. Cast Thy glance of favor upon us. Give light to our eyes, hearing to our ears, and understanding and love to our hearts. Render our souls joyous and happy through Thy glad tidings. O Lord! Point out to us the pathway of Thy kingdom and resuscitate all of us through the breaths of the Holy Spirit. Bestow upon us life everlasting and confer upon us never-ending honor. Unify mankind and illumine the world of humanity. May we all follow Thy pathway, long for Thy good pleasure and seek the mysteries of Thy kingdom. O God! Unite us and connect our hearts with Thy indissoluble bond. Verily, Thou art the giver, Thou art the Kind One and Thou art the Almighty.
Baha’i prayer for Humanity
O Thou kind Lord! Unite all. Let the religions agree and make the nations one, so that they may see each other as one family and the whole earth as one home. May they all live together in perfect harmony.
O God! Raise aloft the banner of the oneness of mankind.
O God! Establish the Most Great Peace. Cement Thou, O God, the hearts together.
O Thou kind Father, God! Gladden our hearts through the fragrance of Thy love. Brighten our eyes through the Light of Thy Guidance. Delight our ears with the melody of Thy Word, and shelter us all in the Strong-hold of Thy Providence.
Prayer For All Mankind
O Thou kind Lord! Thou hast created all humanity from the same stock. Thou hast decreed that all shall belong to the same household.
In Thy Holy Presence they are all Thy servants, and all mankind are sheltered beneath Thy Tabernacle; all have gathered together at Thy Table of Bounty; all are illumined through the light of Thy Providence.
O God! Thou art kind to all, Thou hast provided for all, dost shelter all, conferrest life upon all. Thou hast endowed each and all with talents and faculties, and all are submerged in the Ocean of Thy Mercy.
Delight our ears with the melody of Thy Word, and shelter us all in the Stronghold of Thy Providence.
Thou art the Mighty and Powerful, Thou art the Forgiving and Thou art the One Who overlooketh the shortcomings of all mankind.
Amen.
Let peace fill the earth
May we see the day when war and bloodshed cease
when a great peace will embrace the whole world
Then nation shall not threaten nation
and humankind will not again know war.
For all who live on earth shall realize
we have not come into being to hate or destroy
We have come into being
to praise, to labour and to love.
Compassionate God, bless all the leaders of all nations
with the power of compassion.
Fulfill the promise conveyed in Scripture:
“I will bring peace to the land,
and you shall lie down and no one shall terrify you.
I will rid the land of vicious beasts
and it shall not be ravaged by war.”
Let love and justice flow like a mighty stream.
Let peace fill the earth as the waters fill the sea.
And let us say: Amen
Bodhisattva Prayer for All Humanity
“May I be a guard for those who need protection,
a guide for those on the path,
a boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood.
May I be a lamp in the darkness,
a resting place for the weary,
a healing medicine for all who are sick,
a vase of plenty, a tree of miracles.
And for the boundless multitudes of living beings,
may I bring sustenance and awakening,
enduring like the earth and sky
until all beings are freed from sorrow
and all are awakened.”
