Prayer Of Protection From Satan

Heavenly Father, thank You that I am Your blood-bought child and that nothing can snatch me from Your hand.. for You are my Saviour and I have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Your dear Son, Who is the light of the world. Thank You that I have been forgiven of my sins and covered in Christ’s own righteousness and thank You that I have been baptised into Christ and set free from slavery to sin and Satan – for which I praise and thank Your holy name.

But Lord I also know that Satan is a roaring lion who prowls around seeking whom he may devour.. and Lord I know that he truly is the evil prince of darkness, who delights to disguise himself as an angel of light and seeks to deceive many people. Lord I understand also that He seeks to destroy the faith of many and to deceive others into false teachings and doctrines of demons as he sows seeds of disruptive deceit and evil into the hearts and lives of many. But Father I thank You that greater is He that is in me that he that is in the world – thank You that by the blood of Christ He is a defeated enemy – but Lord I pray that You would protect me and those I love from His fiery darts and evil attacks. Enable me to resist Him and all His deceptive ploys and may I walk in spirit and truth, covered by the blood of Jesus my Saviour and remain safe in Him, in Whose name I pray,

A Prayer Against Evil and To Overcome It

Father God, we praise you for your love and faithfulness towards your children. We praise you for being a perfect, holy, trustworthy God that is bigger than all the evil we experience here on earth. We ask that you give us eyes to see when evil is before us, hearts to hate evil and the desire to flee from its presence. We ask that you would not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil and draw us closer to yourself. We ask for the long-expected Jesus to come quickly and make all things new. We ask these things His precious name. Amen.

Breaking Curses and Against Evil

Heavenly Most Gracious Father, you are omnipotent and you reign over all the earth. There is nothing in this world that could hinder or defeat your mighty power.

Evil may try to test us in the most tempting of ways, but you Oh Father never leave our sides in times of desperation.

Overcoming evil

Almighty Father, there may be evil forces around us that we cannot battle by ourselves. But by Your strength and your power we are saved and we are overcomers.

There are people, Oh Lord that do not wish us well. Everyday, they hope to see us fail or fall by the wayside.

But I declare that every chain of evil words spoken against me is now broken. I am the head, never the tail, above never beneath. I have wisdom and divine strategies.

Break every curse

I break every curse that is set upon me and my family. The dark forces that attempt to lurk in every corner of this beautiful land, will disintegrate at the sound of your great name.

I proclaim and declare that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree” (Galatians 3:13).

I declare Satan has no hold over me now through curses or occult practices, through sacrifices or any ritual of any kind. Through the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, I have been set free and I remain free.

In the powerful name of Jesus, I break all generational curses placed upon my life and my family. I break all curses that are affecting my finances, my mind, my relationships, and emotions, in Jesus name.

Give me strength, Oh Lord, to fight these battles, for with you all things are possible. In Jesus’ most precious name I pray, AMEN!!

Protection from Evil

Lord God, I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go, and keep evil far from me. No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the One Who fights for me every day. Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and I give thanks to You for Your love and protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer to Defeat the Work of Satan

O Divine Eternal Father, in union with your Divine Son and the Holy Spirit, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg You to destroy the Power of your greatest enemy — the evil spirits. Cast them into the deepest recesses of hell and chain them there forever! Take possession of your Kingdom which You have created and which is rightfully yours.
Heavenly Father, give us the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

A Prayer for Protection Against Evil

Lord Jesus, evil is such a harsh word, and yet Your Word uses it frequently to describe the opposite of good. While we are all capable of sin, I ask Your protection against those who call good evil, and evil good. Guard us from those who scheme against righteousness and from those who twist truth into lies to accomplish their evil intents. May Your angels hover ever near to eradicate fear and fight against dark, spiritual forces we cannot see. Help us cast down every imagination and thought that our enemy tries to use to exalt itself against You.

You dealt our spiritual enemy a fateful blow on Calvary when you died on the cross for us and were resurrected on the third day. While evil still roams, the power of Your name and Your blood rises up to defeat and bring us victory against every evil planned against us. While malicious actions may disturb us, we use the armor of God You have given us to stand firm. You will bring justice in due time for all the harm and needless violence aimed at Your children. Until then, we remain in Your presence, aligned with Your purposes, and we look to You as our Supreme Commander and Protector. Help us to avoid temptation, and deliver us from evil, Lord. You are the Mighty One, the One Who will ultimately bring all evil to light. With You, Jesus, we are safe.

Under the Protection of the Most High

Father, I want to live in the shadow of Your wing. When life is hard, and I don’t know what to do, help me remember that You are with me and that I am never alone. I cannot live without You. I cannot face tomorrow without the promise of Your presence. Today I choose to walk and live under the protection of You, The Most High.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A Prayer to Guard Your Heart

Lord God, Captain of my heart, Satan knows if I follow Your Greatest Commandment – to love You with all my heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37) – he is powerless over me. Guard my heart, Lord Jesus, so that it beats for You alone. Don’t let me grow complacent toward You or be lured to love anyone or anything more than You. Remove the idols from my heart so that You alone command my allegiance and utmost affections Help me to love and forgive others as You have forgiven me so the enemy can get no foothold through hate or bitterness on my part. Cultivate in my heart Your love that “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7, NASB). Finally, Lord, set my heart on things above, not on earthly things. Help me to remember that You died for me and my life is now hidden which Christ in God (Colossians 3:1-2). Increase my longing for heaven so this world holds no power over me.

A Prayer to Defend Your Mind

Almighty God, cover my mind with the helmet of Your salvation, reminding me constantly that I am Your child and the enemy can’t mess with me. Fix my thoughts, Lord Jesus, on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Help me to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise so Your peace will guard my mind (Philippians 4:8-9). Don’t let me copy the behavior and customs of this world, but transform me into a new person by changing the way I think. Then I will learn to recognize Your will for me which is good and pleasing and perfect (Romans 12:2, NLT). Saturate my mind with Your truth so I am convinced that the answers are found in Your Word, not out in the world.

A Prayer to Calm Your Emotions

Lord, keep the enemy at bay by calming my emotions with the peace of Your presence. Help me to follow Your command and not worry about anything, but pray about everything, with a thankful heart offering up prayers and requests to you so that You can give me that peace that no one can completely understand – a peace that will control the way I think and feel (Phil. 4:6-7, CEV). Remind me, daily, that You are the Only One who can meet my emotional needs so I don’t look to any person for my identity, validation, or for my love tank to be filled. Thank You that You are the God of peace, the God of order, the God who heals my wounds and helps me sort through and make sense of life. You are not the God of chaos or confusion. Fill me with Your Spirit so I may express to others only love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

A Prayer to Cover Your Mouth

Lord, Jesus, guard my mouth so that my words will be few. Help me to be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger (James 1:19). Don’t let me speak reckless words that can pierce like swords. Instead, give me a tongue that brings healing (Proverbs 12:18). Don’t let me give in to gossip or speak careless critical words that will wound others. Keep the enemy far from me so that no unwholesome talk comes out of my mouth but only what is helpful for building others up, according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Don’t let me grieve the Holy Spirit through my words (Ephesians 4:29-30).

A Prayer to Protect Your Body

Lord, I give my body to You. Let it be a living and holy sacrifice, the kind You will find acceptable (Romans 12:1, NLT). I know from Your Word that Satan can not sift me like wheat or even lay a hand on me without Your permission. So place Your hedge around me so that my body – Your temple – can be preserved, pure, holy, and healthy for You (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Block Satan’s attempts to make me doubt that I am “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) and don’t let me listen to his taunts to harm my body through neglect, contempt, addiction or abuse. I am Yours, Lord Jesus, and I want to glorify You in my body so keep me from Satan’s attempts and the temptations in this world and in my flesh to make me impure, to dress immodestly, to make my body a showcase or advertisement for evil or self glorification.

As you pray that God will develop the fruits of His Holy Spirit in every area of your life, you will be invincible through prayer to the one who seeks to tear you down and make you less like Christ.

Al-Mu’awwidhatayn

Al-Mu’awwidhatan (المعوذتان), sometimes translated as “Verses of Refuge“, is an Arabic term referring to the last two suras (chapters) of the Qur’an, viz. al-Falaq (ch. 113), and An-Nās (ch. 114), which are two consecutive short prayers both beginning with the verse “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of…”. Although these two suras are separate entities in the Qur’an and also are written in the Mushaf under separate names, they are so deeply related with their contents closely resembling each other’s that they have been designated by the common name ‘al-Mu’awwidhatayn’ (the two suras in which refuge with Allah has been sought). Imam Baihaqi in ‘Dala’il an-Nubuwwah’ has written that these suras were revealed together, and hence their combined name of al-Mu’awwidhatayn. There is a Sunnah tradition from Muhammad of reading them over the sick or before sleeping and they are also considered a healing.

Sura Al-Falaq

Al-Falaq (الفلق‎, “Dawn, Daybreak“) is the 113th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an. It is a brief five verse invocation, asking God (Allah) for protection from the evil of Satan. This surah and the 114th (and last) surah in the Qur’an, an-Nās, are collectively referred to as al-Mu’awwidhatayn “the Refuges”, as both begin “I seek refuge”, an-Nās tells to seek God refuge from the evil from within, while al-Falaq tells to seek God refuge from the evil from outside, so reading both of them would protect a person from his own mischief and the mischief of others.

Sura Al-Nas

Al nās (الناس‎, “Mankind“) is the 114th and last chapter (sūrah) of the Qur’an, the Muslim holy book. It is a short six-verse invocation, asking God (Allah) for protection from the Shaitan. There is a Sunnah tradition of reading this Surah for the sick or before sleeping.
