Money And Field

The Gospel of Barnabas says that the Body of Jesus was switched with the body of Judas on the Cross so that it was Judas and not Jesus who had died.

Is there truth to this claim? Let’s have a closer look into the Bible and see if there is Solid Evidence that supports the Gospel of Barnabas

Now the Bible regarding Judas says;

“Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself but the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because they are the price of blood. And they consulted together and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, and gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord directed me. (Matthew 27:5-10)”

Matthew records the final event as he has hanged.

Also notice how Judas threw the money in the temple and the Priests purchased a field with the evil money Judas returned.

Now another Gospel account is;

“(Now this man (Judas) bought a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. (Act 1:18)”

Now Judas bought a field with the reward of his wickedness” when in Matthew, that money was thrown in the temple and used by the Priests.

The Antiochan tetradrachm is one possibility for the identity of the coins making up the thirty pieces.

Secondly, the Christian excuse defies the laws of physics.

For a human to burst open, from a fall, he would have to be up about a 1,000 feet high, I do not recall any horse that tall.

Fore Judas would need a horse to support him in his process to hang himself.

Furthermore, a point I mentioned before is that logic would picture Judas hanging himself on the first branches which are the lowest and strongest. If you go up a thousand feet up, then there is nothing except twigs. Why would Judas buy an entire field when his intension was just to hang himself on one single branch?

If we look closely, we see common words which are obviously mixed together by unknowing authors.

In Matthew, the Priests bought the Field with the blood money Judas returned.

In Acts, Judas bought the field as a reward for his wickedness which Judas kept.

So we see how the authors had little bits and pieces of the true story but were not certain about what happened, and made up stories around the words “money and field“. Also, we see how the middle section of Judas gushed out and that he hung.

Astonishingly similar to Jesus also hanging and his middle section gushing out. To top it off, the Gospel of Barnabas says Judas was made to look like Jesus and it was Judas who hung and his middle section gushed out which Matthew and Acts “Partially Support”
